Caleb and I are having trouble identifying this bird. It visited our feeder a few weeks ago and has not been back. Can you help us out?

It is a white-breasted nuthatch. They are wonderful little birds, nuthatches are the only birds able to go "Head down" a tree. Great photo.

ReplyDeleteThey seem to like sunflower seeds, nuts and suet, at least that is what they come after at our feeders.
